Enrichment integration

Apollo + OutboundManager

Use Apollo People Match to find work emails inside an enrichment waterfall, with budgets, caching and wrong-company matches rejected.

Bring your own Apollo key; Apollo bills its credits as usual. 7-day free trial, then $27 a month.

Why connect Apollo

  • Put Apollo in a waterfall with your other providers; a miss falls through to the next
  • Matches at another company are rejected when you give a domain, so you never mail the wrong person
  • Monthly credit budgets per person and per workspace, and a spend log by person, provider and month
  • Finds are cached for 90 days, so the same person is not paid for twice

What we sync

  • Work email lookups by name and company domain (or company name), or by LinkedIn URL
  • Email status from Apollo (verified emails are valid; bounced ones are rejected)
  • Your credit usage on the provider card, when the key can read it

How to connect Apollo

  1. In Apollo, open Settings → Integrations → API and create an API key. A master key also lets OutboundManager show your usage.
  2. In OutboundManager, an admin opens Settings → Enrichment, finds the provider card and clicks Add key.
  3. Paste the key, click Test, then Save. The key is checked against the tool before it is stored, encrypted.
  4. Set its place in the waterfall and the monthly credit budgets on the same page. Managers can then run lists from Enrich.

Good to know

  • Email only. Apollo phone numbers need its webhook flow, which is not supported here.
  • Apollo charges 1 credit for a match with an email, including one rejected because it is at another company.
  • Personal emails are never requested.
  • API access and credits depend on your Apollo plan.

Apollo questions

Why was an Apollo email rejected?

Apollo sometimes matches a person at a different company. When you supply a domain, only an email on that domain is accepted.

Do I pay OutboundManager for Apollo credits?

No. You bring your own Apollo key and Apollo bills you for credits as usual. OutboundManager records the credits each lookup used, so you can see spend per person, per provider and per month.

Can reps use it?

Yes. Admins add the key; anyone can run a list from Enrich, within the per-person monthly budget. Reps see their own runs.
