Enrichment
Find work emails and phone numbers with your own provider keys: the waterfall, the quality floor, the cache and monthly credit budgets.
For: Admins, managers and anyone running lists
Enrichment finds a work email, a phone number, or both, for a list of people. It uses your company's own keys for MoltSets, Apollo, Crustdata, Lusha, ZoomInfo and FullEnrich. The providers bill you directly. OutboundManager does not sell credits; it controls the order, the budget and the record of what was spent.
Set it up

Settings → Enrichment. Providers are tried top to bottom; the arrows change the order. Demo data.
- An admin adds each provider key in Settings → Enrichment. Key steps are on API keys by tool.
- A manager chooses the mode: Waterfall (try the enabled providers in order) or Single (always one provider).
- Put the providers in order with the up and down arrows on their cards. Put the cheapest provider with acceptable quality first.
- Choose the minimum quality to accept (the quality floor): Valid only, Valid + catch-all, or Anything except invalid.
- Set the monthly credit budgets: one per person and one for the whole workspace.
Run a list

The Enrich page: your budget left this month, the rows to enrich and the providers for this run. Demo data.
- Open Enrich. Paste rows from a spreadsheet or upload a CSV, up to 1,000 rows per run.
- Check the detected columns. Recognised columns are first name, last name, full name, company, domain or website, LinkedIn URL and email.
- Choose email, phone, or both, and untick or reorder providers for this run if you want.
- Read the estimate, then start the run. You can leave the page; open the run later to see progress.
- Download the CSV, or Save to contacts.
Note: Each provider needs certain inputs. A LinkedIn URL works with all of them and is the only input Crustdata accepts. Name plus company domain works with MoltSets, Apollo, Lusha, ZoomInfo and FullEnrich. Phone-only rows need a LinkedIn URL.
What happens to each row
- A row that already has an email is skipped for email. 0 credits.
- The cache is checked. A find for the same person made in this workspace within the cache period (90 days by default) that meets the quality floor is reused. 0 credits.
- Providers are tried in order until one returns an email that meets the quality floor. An invalid email is never accepted. An answer below the floor falls through to the next provider.
- If phone is on, a separate pass runs over the providers that can find phones (Crustdata, Lusha, ZoomInfo, FullEnrich) and stops at the first number.
When you give a company domain, an email on a different domain is rejected, because some providers match the person at another company.

A finished run: finds and credits per provider, and a cached row that cost 0 credits. Demo data.
Budgets and the estimate
- Budgets are credits per calendar month, in the workspace time zone.
- Before a run starts you see a worst-case estimate: every row that needs a lookup, times the most each chosen provider could charge. Real spend is usually lower, because of cache hits, free misses and early finds.
- A run whose estimate would pass the person's or the workspace's budget is refused. A manager can override after a confirmation. A rep cannot.
- Providers on a flat-rate plan record 0 credits, so they do not use up a budget.
Seeing what was spent
Every run shows finds and credits per provider, split by email and phone. Enrich → Usage (managers) shows credits per person, per provider and per month, and every run. Reps see their own runs and their own budget.

Enrich → Usage: credits per person, per provider and per month. Demo data.
Provider notes
| Provider | Finds | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| MoltSets | A miss is free. Flat-rate plans have weekly fair-use windows; when one is used up the waterfall moves on. | |
| Apollo | 1 credit for a match with an email, including one rejected for being at another company. Personal emails are never requested. | |
| Crustdata | Email, phone | LinkedIn URL only. Needs a plan that includes contact data; the key test passes without it but lookups are refused. |
| Lusha | Email, phone | API v3 access must be enabled on your account. Do-not-call numbers and contacts blocked for legal reasons are skipped. |
| ZoomInfo | Email, phone | Gives an accuracy score, not a deliverability check. Your licence may restrict storing or moving its data: check your contract. |
| FullEnrich | Email, phone | Asynchronous: most lookups take 30 to 90 seconds. An unfinished lookup is picked up on the next pass and never paid twice. |
Who can do what
- Keys (add, replace, remove): admins only.
- Order, mode, quality floor, cache period, budgets, the spend log: managers and admins.
- Running a list: everyone, within their budget.
Important: In read-only mode (trial or subscription ended) new runs are refused. Past runs and their CSV downloads stay available.
